Today, I will talk about the movie I watched named "Mao's Last Dancer." This movie is kind of Romance and drama. Also, this movie is base on real story.
First, this movie is about a frog in a well, and I think this means people should have bigger dreams or look farther. In this movie, there is a country boy. He was selected to go bigger world to learn ballet. His parents let him go. And he became a famous ballerino in the world. I think that scene shows us story about a frog in a well. I'll talk about it more detailed. Do you know the story about 'A frog in a well'? Once upon a time there was frog who spent all his life in the bottom of a well. He enjoyed hopping around his beautiful dark home and he had water to swim in. He think of nothing he missed and when he looked around he saw no other animal with so much comfort and wealth he had. He thought he was the happiest frog in the world. But one day, frog from the outside world fell into the well. The new frog looked around the well and began jumping as high as she could. The new frog said to him about outside. She said about like 'There are some flowers, river, tasty insect...' And she told him he looked skinny and pale. Then, happy frog knew that all he thought he knew was wrong. Like this story, when the Li doesn't go to bigger world, he doesn't know about how the world looking, and how big the world or
Second, in this movie, Li decided to stay in the USA. I think Li's decision is good. because, when he goes back to China, he can't be a famous ballerino in the world. And I think becoming a famous ballerino is filial piety for his parents. And life is his. He wants to be in the U.S.A to reach his dream. So I think Li's decision to stay in the USA is great.
Third, there is a teacher who inspired him. He motivated Li to follow team when Li was getting stress due to ballet. I think my parents are inspires me a lot, for they always wait and help me to make dream come true. They make environment to study more convenient. Our parents really hoped my dream to come true. Those behaviors make me happy.
To conclude, I am glad to see this movie, and it was very fun and gave me a lot of lessons. I believe that dream comes true, I'll see my life widely. Also, I always appreciate to my parents. I'll do my best to achieve my dream, too.

I liked basic structures of this movie review. It summarized the movie well enough and the story "a frog in a well." But you could write this movie review better by writing your own thoughts more. You explained the movie well, but you did not gave reasons on your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteSeo Yeon- This post is well organized with a picture, your writing and the trailer. There are some improvements however that I recommend. First, your introduction is too short. It should include a short summary of what the movie was about, it's genre and your general opinion.
